Antispam Technologies (Spamabwehr)

Abstract

In the project Antispam Technologies we develop, analyze and implement efficient strategies for detecting, defending against and preventing “spam” e-mail (comprising unsolicited commercial e-mail, unsolicited bulk e-mail, etc.). We investigate pre-send methods, methods for controlling outgoing traffic, advanced filtering technologies and cost-based approaches.

Special focus is put on server-side solutions (point of view of an ISP), which are efficient, robust, self-adaptive and flexible, and impervious to denial-of-service attacks.
